When an NFL season reaches the point that this one has for the Dallas Cowboys, ginning up some enthusiasm can be tough. Unless you are actively rooting against the team in hopes of getting a higher draft pick in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft. At this point, that does give you something to latch on to when the game is on, but personally speaking, I get very conflicted in trying to root against Dallas. In the end, it just doesn’t sit right.
Anyway, there is no way around it, the Cowboys have two more games to play this season, and the next one happens to be on Christmas Day against the Washington Commanders. At least their season has been even worse than ours, given that they made the NFC Championship game last season but now have a 4-11 record.
The Cowboys will be on the road for that game, but still are 5.5-point favorites according to FanDuel. A lot of that has to do with the Commanders injury issues at quarterback. So if you want to add some excitement to the game, maybe lay down some cash. As always, bet responsibly.
Would anybody take the Cowboys and give 5.5 points?
