This Dallas Cowboys season is just about lost as far as the point of the sport is concerned. It was once said that you play to win the game. The Cowboys have done this so few times this season that they are on the verge of being mathematically eliminated from the postseason on the weekend before Christmas. We will see if that ultimately comes to pass.
Ultimately it is likely that the Cowboys will play at least one meaningless game this season (meaningless in the capacity that we are defining here) which means that they will have to find meaning in different ways.
What would success look like across the rest of the season?
Assuming you share the overall sentiment here, what would success look like across the final games before the Cowboys pack it up for another offseason? Do you want to see them win? Is it preferred in your opinion to achieve better draft status? Do you want to see younger players shine and thrive?
