We are inching closer to a much-anticipated reunion between the Dallas Cowboys and Micah Parsons, who was traded to the Green Bay Packers before the season opener. We should expect there to be a lot of excitement in the building once the teams meet. The Packers want to put an upset loss at the hands of the Cleveland Browns behind them, and the Cowboys would like to pick up the pieces after they were dismantled by the Chicago Bears. Here are the most recent developments regarding the health of both clubs.
As expected, guard Tyler Booker (ankle) and CeeDee Lamb (ankle) did not practice today and are all but officially ruled out of Sunday’s game. However, on a positive note, Trevon Diggs (knee) returned to practice today in a full capacity. Also practicing with a full workload today was Daron Bland (foot). Bland has practiced for consecutive days. The team is not committed that he could return this week, but Bland did tell the production team of Sunday Night Football that he plans on playing against Green Bay.
For the Packers, their injury report is very long, with many of their core players still limited. Josh Jacobs (ankle), Micah Parsons (back), and tight end Tucker Kraft (knee/elbow) were limited again on Thursday. Zach Tom, who is likely to miss this week’s game, was out of practice today with an oblique injury. Meanwhile, Aaron Banks (groin) was listed as DNP as he was yesterday. Also, Javon Bullard (concussion) was upgraded to limited participation.
