A.J. Brown thinks the George Pickens trade is great for the Cowboys.
In an offseason of more activity by Jerry Jones, the trade the front office made with the Pittsburgh Steelers not only made Cowboys fans excited, it’s caught the attention of an NFC East rival player, A.J. Brown.
: Eagles star WR AJ Brown admits the Cowboys are a “team to worry about” after they traded for George Pickens:
“I ain’t going to lie. We’re going to have to worry about them for sure. I like the trade. I like the competition, you know.”

He recently made comments on YouTube stating that he believes the George Pickens trade has made Dallas a serious contender, and that makes them a threat that could hinder the Philadelphia Eagles from defending their championship.

During a YouTube conversation Brown was quoted as saying:
“We’re going to have to worry about Dallas, for sure. We’re going to have to worry about them. No, I like the trade. I do like the trade. I like the competition. I like George Pickens, I like CeeDee Lamb. And they collab. It’s going to be exciting to watch. Because all that does is bring the best out of us. So, if we know how they coming, we are going to have to step it up.”
Whenever a trade is made and players on division rival teams make comments on the trade, that should be listened to. These guys know the weaknesses of each divisional team in intimate detail, and the fact that Brown has come out publicly about the Pickens trade means it’s something Cowboys fans should pay attention to.

Last season the Cowboys lost to the Eagles in Week 10 at home 34-6, and then in Week 17 Dallas got walloped on the road 41-7. This move to acquire Pickens has Brown concerned that the gap has closed significantly and a repeat of any score line from 2024 looks unlikely. If you had some uncertainty on the Pickens’ trade, this may help to alleviate any concern.
