When the Dallas Cowboys play Monday against the Cincinnati Bengals, they have their slim playoff hopes alive. They can’t afford any more losses to make the postseason and will need help from other teams. According to our rooting guide, they’ll be crossing their fingers for upsets and some luck throughout the NFC. They’ll also have to make some luck of their own come Monday night. Unfortunately, some players won’t be able to help them in pursuit of their improbable playoff run against the Bengals.

CeeDee Lamb (shoulder) was has no injury designation after two limited practices to end the week, so he is good to go. Trevon Diggs (knee) was limited Saturday and is questionable; Tyler Guyton (ankle/knee) did not practice Saturday, but the team optimistically ruled him questionable.
DeMarvion Overshown (hamstring) also was upgraded to a full participant and will play against Cincinnati. Tyler Smith (ankle) and DaRon Bland (foot) logged three full practices this week and are good to go. Safety Juanyeh Thomas (knee) and guard Zack Martin (ankle) have been ruled out.
Offensive tackle Orlando Brown Jr. (fibula) and DT Sheldon Rankins (illness) are ruled out for the Bengals.
