Here is the Dallas Cowboys injury report for Thursday
The Dallas Cowboys returned to practice for their second day of preparation ahead of another chapter in one of the NFL’s most historic rivalries. The Cowboys and the Pittsburgh Steelers have faced off 33 times, including three Super Bowl matchups. The last five meetings have been decided by one score. We should anticipate that this week’s game will be a tightly contested affair. Pittsburgh and Dallas could be without critical pieces. Here’s where both teams are regarding injuries.

Micah Parsons did not practice today as he’ll miss this game with an ankle injury. Dallas has opted not to place Parsons on injured reserve, exhibiting a confidence that Parsons will miss less than four games. Markequese Bell (ankle) was a full-go on Thursday, and Caelen Carson (shoulder) was limited on Thursday. Both practicing on Thursday bodes well for their chances to play Sunday. After being given a light workload to rest Wednesday, veterans Malik Hooker, Eric Kendricks, Jourdan Lewis, and Zack Martin were full participants on Thursday. Brandin Cooks logged a DNP as he recovers from a knee infection.
The Cowboys also added a few more players to the report today. Rico Dowdle (wrist) and Tyler Guyton (shoulder) were full participants. Meanwhile, Trevon Diggs (ankle), Ryan Flournoy, and Zeke Elliott were limited; the latter two players with dehydration.
The Steelers don’t expect Alex Highsmith (groin) to play this week, and so far, he is trending in that direction with two consecutive DNPs to start the week. Also not practicing again for Pittsburgh are running backs Jaylen Warren (knee) and Cordarrelle Patterson (ankle). Russell Wilson participated in practice on Thursday as a limited participant and could dress for Sunday night’s game, although as a backup to Justin Fields.
