By this time next week the Dallas Cowboys will have played two more games on the season.
This time next week, the Dallas Cowboys will have played twice as many games as they currently have. Buckle up, use whatever flash photography you want, this ride is about to pick up some serious speed.
As strange as it is the Cowboys will play on Thursday Night Football in the month of September, and will do so in their first divisional matchup of the season. The Giants are in a world of their own disaster these days and will visit the Cleveland Browns on Sunday afternoon in advance of the matchup shortly before the Cowboys host the Baltimore Ravens.
Something we do here on the blog in advance of Thursday games (this exercise is usually done the Friday before Thanksgiving for obvious reasons) is ask the group what we think Dallas’ record will be next Friday morning. Obviously that will be the morning after the Thursday night game.
At the time of this writing, Dallas is a home underdog to the Ravens (+1.5) according to our friends at FanDuel Sportsbook. FanDuel has early odds for next week’s TNF game as has the Cowboys as big-time favorites (-7). Odds are worth knowing but obviously not representative of anything given that Dallas was a massive favorite in their last two home games (dating back to last season’s playoffs) and was blown out on both occasions.
But we are here for a purpose so we will go ahead and get to it.
How do you think we will be feeling next Friday morning?
